Woman who vanished from Brisbane bus found safe
ANUSHKA Ellalagoda, 19, who disappeared from a Brisbane bus stop about 11pm on Thursday has been found safe.
She was found walking near the corner of Brisbane's Brunswick St and Merthyr Rd at New Farm by a member of the public before 8am, according to Nine News.
The alarm was raised after she told a bus driver should would return in a few minutes, then vanished.
Her mobile phone and purse were left behind on the bus.

AN air and land search is underway in the Newstead and Tenerrife areas for 19-year-old Anushka Ellalagoda who was last seen at 11pm last night.
Preliminary information indicates that Ms Ellalagoda hopped off a bus at the intersection of Commercial Road and Skyring Terrace telling the driver she would return in a few moments.
Police were contacted when Ms Ellalagoda failed to return with all of her property including mobile phone and purse left behind on the bus.
Police and family hold concerns for her safety and are appealing for anyone who may have seen Ms Ellalagoda to contact them.
She is described as Sri Lankian, approximately 165cms tall with a slim build and long black hair.
