New Warrego Hwy servo almost ready to open
A NEW service station along the Warrego Highway will open its doors by the end of the month.
Developed by BOSS Australia, the Shell servo in Hatton Vale on the corner of Summerholm Road and the highway, has been under construction for the past nine months.
Alongside multiple fuel dispensers, which will be stocked with diesel, Unleaded 91, Unleaded 95, Unleaded 98 and Ethanol 10 fuel, the station will feature a wide range of food and drink options.
Customers will be able to purchase hot food and coffee and there is provision for a food outlet on the site.
BOSS chief executive officer Krishna Prasad Bodla said it should be open by the end of the month.
"There is lot of competition in the surrounding area but for BOSS Australia competition is great sign of potential success," he said.
"Healthy competition indicates that there is demand in the area. It's still not over-saturated with petrol stations.
"The natural growth in surrounding areas presents a great opportunity. (The) growth of (the) area around this site is fair."
Plans for an official opening have not yet been finalised.
