STUNNING footage has emerged from within the Peregian Springs fire zone as many residents evacuate the area under threat from an unpredictable bushfire.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services issued a Watch and Act bushfire alert about 5.30pm, urging people in the path of the fire to leave now.
Bushfire shuts Sunshine Mwy:
A bushfire has shut the Sunshine Motorway in both directions at Peregian Springs.
It is currently threatening the Coolum State Primary School and a number of houses in the area.
