Vile note on disabled woman’s car

A YOUNG woman's dad has slammed the person who left a vile note on their car threatening to report his family for using a disabled space.

Alan Tanner revealed the shocking message left for his wife and their daughter Paige after they parked in a disabled bay during a shopping trip.

It read: "You will be reported for illegal use of a blue badge space.

"I witnessed you and your young able bodied daughter park the car at the precinct with no sign of disability.

"This selfish action deprives a disabled person of somewhere to park."

Alan's 23-year-old daughter suffers from the chromosome disorder Tetrasomy 18p.

This leaves her unable to do anything for herself and she needs constant care.

She has a blue badge for this reason, but the person who left the note judged from her appearance that she was not disabled.

The upset dad, from Reading in England, slammed the message as "ignorant" and voiced concerns the person was likely to be targeting other people.

He told the Mirror: "I would like them to see her for a week and then they would see why she needs that blue badge.

"To the person that wrote this letter, do not judge unless you know the full details of someone's disability.

"Paige is not a young girl as you stated but a 23-year-old adult who is severely mentally disabled and requires 1:1 support at all times."

The incident follows a similar vile incident earlier this month, which saw a woman charged after she left a note telling an ambulance to "move now" from her parking spot.

The note read: "If this van is for anyone but No. 14 then you have no right to park here.

"I couldn't give a s**t if the whole street collapses. Now move your van from outside my house."

The woman, Kirsty Sharman, has since pleaded guilty to a public order offence, with the chairman of magistrates at North Staffordshire Justice Centre saying it was "absolutely despicable incident".

She was fined $210 and also ordered to pay other costs totalling almost $300.
