Passion for fashion sees Yasmyn open boutique store

A YOUNG Ipswich fashion designer has achieved her dream of opening her own boutique store.

At just 22 years of age, Yasmyn Paul designs clothing for nationwide fashion label, Passion Q, and is selling these unique pieces at her new business, White Haven Emporium in Brisbane St.

Ms Paul said the new Top of Town business added another fashion option to suit all body types.

"We have relaxed fit clothing ranging from sizes 8-22," she said.

"It's very trans-seasonal, easy to wear and the style perfect for our Queensland weather.

"A lot of items you can wear to the beach and then out to a nice restaurant."

The Ipswich Girls' Grammar graduate said she loved being able to create a design and have it appear in store just weeks later.

"Ever since I was little, fashion was my dream," Ms Paul said.

"I've always loved sewing and art, and this is putting everything I love together.

"I think new fashion is definitely something we need more of in Ipswich.

"This street has so much potential and there are a lot of really cool things happening."

White Haven Emporium is open Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am-5pm, and Thursdays from 10am-7pm. Visit the store at 196 Brisbane St or visit White Haven Emporium on Facebook for more.
