FIREBIRDS and Australian captain Laura Geitz has been ruled out of this weekend's ANZ Championship pre-season competition as she recovers from knee surgery.
Queensland coach Roselee Jencke said she was still confident Geitz would be available for round one on Sunday, March 1.
