More hot muggy days coming to Ipswich

FORGET supercell thunderstorms, it was the heat and humidity that Ipswich residents were talking about on the weekend.

Residents endured relative humidity in excess of 90% at times during the weekend, with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees during the day.

For those looking forward to a cool change, it looks as though you could be in for more sweltering heat before things get any cooler.

The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast a maximum of 37 today, 39 tomorrow and 35 on Wednesday before things start cooling down a bit towards the weekend.

There is a chance of a shower or storm today, but no predictions of significant rain on the horizon.
