Man suffers neck and chest injury in late night stabbing

UPDATE: A 26-year-old woman has been charged with numerous offences following an alleged wounding in North Ipswich last night.

Police and an ambulance unit were called to the Lowry St address just before 10pm where a 40-year-old man required treatment for a neck and chest injury.

A 45-year-old woman was also assessed at the scene and both were later taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

The 26-year-old has since been charged with various offences including alleged grievous bodily harm, assault police and obstruct police.

She will appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on February 2.

 

Man in hospital after alleged wounding at North Ipswich

EARLIER: A man is in hospital with a neck and chest injury after an alleged wounding in North Ipswich last night.

Queensland Ambulance Staff report that the incident occurred just before 10pm.

Paramedics assessed a male and two female patients at the scene on Lowry St. 

The male and one of the female patients were later taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
