LETTER: Time to fix state's public transport

New train testing delays could cost taxpayers billions in compensation.

The taxpayers of Queensland deserve to know the truth.

Public transport in south-east Queensland is headlong into failure.

Any chance of government and transport authorities really listening and start to fix the obvious issues please?

In good news it was an excellent outcome that a cattle rail freight capability has been established between Quilpie and Oakey.

Far better that bulk freight be on rail rather than roads where possible.

This reduces road damage and helps to improve overall road safety.
