Leisemann filling leadership void
IF Brothers' job wasn't tough enough this weekend, they will also be without hooker Nat Creedy for the grand final rematch with Norths.
Creedy has been rested after suffering concussion.
Brothers have named RAAF employee Steve Mills as Creedy's replacement but may yet start with Denman Ah-You, depending on Mills' work commitments.
Given the disruption at dummy half, Brothers coach Dean Daylight needs his halves, Cam Picker and Josh Leisemann to fill the void.
Daylight has been delighted with Leisemann since he shifted him from fullback to five-eighth and has confidence his young pivot will continue to improve in the role.
"Leisemann is really stepping up," Daylight said.
"I think his vision has improved and he's been a standout for us."
In the weekend's other A grade matches Swifts can move alongside fourth placed Brothers on 12 competition points if they can upset third placed West End at Daniels Park tomorrow and Brothers lose.
Second placed Goodna meanwhile, host Fassifern at Woogaroo Field tomorrow.
