Dallas returns for her 'favourite gig'
THE Royal Mail Hotel at Goodna holds a special place in Dallas Frasca's heart, and she cannot wait to bring her namesake band back there on Saturday.
Playing a version of rock and roll that is raw, powerful and full of riffs, Dallas Frasca has captivated audiences all over the world.
A highlight for the band was supporting Earth, Wind and Fire in front of more than 40,000 people at a recent Le Mans 24 Hour circuit race in France.
The band has played at the Royal Mail countless times, and Dallas says it is one of their favourite gigs to play in all of Australia.
"There's a few special venues that remain true to the essence of live music and the Royal Mail is that," she said.
"There are really wonderful people, all the punters who come to the venue to support live music."
"Many bands have cut their teeth in that venue."
Dallas also credits owner Andrew with her love affair with the venue, and says his passion for live music is unrivalled.
"Andy is the life within that venue, he's an amazing person, and he's very accepting of all walks of life, which is pretty rare," she said.
"That's why we keep going back, for Andy, man."
Dallas Frasca will be performing at the Royal Mail Hotel on Saturday, September 12, starting from 4pm.
