Boy hit by truck in Cooroy

A 16-year-old boy has been hit while walking down Myall Street. 

Police report the boy was walking north down the middle of the road and was hit by a truck also travelling north.

The boy was taken to Nambour Hospital in a serious condition. 

The truck driver was not injured and has been spoken to by police.

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
