ANZAC DAY 2021: Mackay region services return to normal

There will be more than candles on driveways for Anzac Day this year as services across the Mackay region return to normal.

Twenty-five are planned for April 25 stretching north to Bloomsbury, west to Eton and south to Koumala including dawn, morning and evening services.

Attendees are encouraged to keep COVID-safe by maintaining physical distancing, especially if they are part of a vulnerable group.

Anyone who has had close contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19, is unwell or is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms including cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue, loss of smell or taste, vomiting, diarrhoea or shortness of breath is asked to stay home.
