LITTLE Kayley Wilkinson, 8, will shave off her golden locks to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.

The event kicks off similar fundraisers throughout the city on the weekend.

ALL Saints' Booval is hosting a concert, Music by the Stars. Instrumentalists include classical piano, guitar, trombone, saxophone, cello and bagpipes.

Vocal artists will provide a range of music, from pop to classical.

KIDS can come along and play with the fire trucks and water as volunteers from the Fernvale Rural Fire Service and associated emergency services support the Leukaemia Foundation with this event.

There will be public shaving and colouring, a gold coin barbecue, Emergency Services information stand, vehicle display, coffee, ice creams and face painting.
